Vytauto Didžiojo karo muziejus

visit one of the oldest museums in Lithuania – the Vytautas the Great War Museum.

The museum began to be established as early as 1919. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to learn about the most important historical events, vividly illustrated by exhibitions of military history and weaponry. One of the halls is dedicated to the memory of the famous Lithuanian pilots Steponas Darius and Stasys Girėnas. It preserves relics from the airplane that crossed the Atlantic Ocean.

The exterior of the building perfectly reflects interwar architecture – a harmonious combination of tradition and modernity. In the small park next to the War Museum, you will hear the sound of continuously ringing bells and see the eternal flame burning nearby.
