The beach that earned the title of world's best! Cala Goloritzé, Sardinia 🇮🇹
A wild, unspoilt corner of the Gulf of Orosei, where a dramatic 143-metre limestone pinnacle rises above the cove like a cathedral in the sea. The beach was actually created by a landslide in 1962 — nature's happy accident, and one of the most breathtaking places in the Mediterranean.
You can reach it by hiking down a rocky trail through Mediterranean scrub with sweeping coastal views, or arrive by boat and sail into the cove from the sea. Either way, the reward is the same — white pebbles, water so clear it barely looks real, and cliffs so dramatic they take your breath away.
Access is strictly limited to 250 people per day. This one is worth every bit of effort.
Sardinia, you really outdid yourself. 🌊🏔️
