Malaysia (KL) review
People: 8.5/10
Nice, welcoming, very multicultural. Lots of Indian Tamils—expected.
But Chinatown sellers are so annoying 😠negotiated hard and ripping deals left and right. They pissed me off a few times—very pushy and entitled.
Didn’t help that I was bargaining for elders too, my blood pressure was HIGH 😂
Attractions: 8.5/10
First impression is- there isn't much to do in KL, but i think it's one of them places you just have to explore and find hidden gems; what I did/saw was fire. The towers are definitely the highlight. I’ll 100% explore more of Malaysia next time.
The heat here was the worst for me—I actually started looking forward to AC, and I’m usually comfortable in 26°C minimum, Italian and Sri Lankan in me.
Also, I need to come back and buy KGs of gold ðŸ˜
Hotels are cheap too—definitely check out where I stayed: Star Residences.
Food: 8.3/10
Food is solid. So many options—Malaysian, Arab, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indian—all high quality.
Cheap overall, but we still hit some expensive spots and ate VERY well.
Overall Score: 8.4 A Tier
